So i’m in a similar boat my man, finishing my undergrad – wanted to break free for a little so riding solo and trying this “backpacking” thing lol Did you book your flight yet? Our timing is a little off, but i’m sure we can tear up europe a bit more comfortably with a fellow american in toe. I’m leaving from the east coast also, with a budding travel itinerary – figure while i’m out there see as much as possible ya know? keep in touch let me know your deal…

You may be spending too much time in Bruges, Nice, Athens and Venice. I would take some of those days and add days maybe island hopping in Greece, or visiting some of the Balkans you will be near such as one of the following: Croatian islands, Bosnia, Bled.
5 days in Nice?? No way. Go there for lunch. walk along the seaside (forgetting about swimming on the rocky beach) then move on my friend.
