This is just a super rough version of our trip! (My friend and I)
For our budget- we have contacts in a lot of these cities which will save us a significant amount of money as far as accommodations, transportation, and food goes! (We’re also considering CouchSurfing)(…any advice regarding would be greatly appreciated!)
Any tips or recommendations in general would also be greatly appreciated!!
This is a very comfortable pace — which is good. But you probably could take a few days away from Amsterdam. Also, the cities where you are spending 5 days, consider taking away a day or two from those unless there is a specific reason you want to be there for such a long time. You can easily accumulate another week or two of days and add places like Budapest.
I love couchsurfing and it really helps you save money. My suggestion with CSing is to host a few people before your trip so you get some good reviews. For some quick tips on food, check out my article 4 Places to Eat Cheap in the travel tips section.
You have a very small budget. It can work if you are VERY frugal and couchsurf most of the time — AND if you are not including transportation.
