Hey Guys! I’m looking for recommendations on what to see while I’m traveling throughout Europe. The First 11 days I am with a tour group called Contiki (9/17-9/27) and then I am free. During that group we will have free time to explore for lunches and other times too. So whatever you can recommend I would appreciate!
It’s my first time out of the country so I need some help!
Sasha
I would have recommended not booking with contiki, but too late.
Why would you say not to? I haven’t booked yet.. From what I’ve read it seems like a good trip but what would you suggest?
I’m all ears
To each their own. Contiki’s great if you want to party and do a fast paced tour with a bunch of Kiwis, Canadians, and Aussies. You just won’t get much freedom. I’m sure you’ll have blast. One thing is that I wouldn’t suggest taking recommendations from the contiki guides and drivers in terms of eating since they usually get a kick back. Check out the map for some good spots in many of those cities.
Thanks mim, I started doing more research and I think that I may choose a shorter trip so I can go off on my own. It’s my first time outta the country and I really wanna have a great time. I do enjoy a good drink from time to time but I don’t wanna get smashed every night and the reviews I’m reading online are saying it’s a lot of partying which is fine but I don’t want that 24/7 you know?
Thanks again for the suggestions!
Totally hear ya.
