Hi,
. Looking for any good info to make my trip the best possible and possibly meet up with a travel friend in some places.
Am excited to finally live my dream
Looks good! Although I would cut your days in Almería, Monaco, and Genoa. The 7 days you had in Genoa should be split up between Florence and Rome. 10 Days in Athens may be a lot as well. Check your budget — it’s a bit too low. Otherwise, looks good!
Thank you Mim.
I am planning to meet a friend in Almeria for a week then on my own and just want to travel mainly along the Med Coast of France and Italy, then somehow hop over to Croatia, Montenegro and Greece. Being hosted in Greece. I am curious about a back pack, any recommendations?? And that is my low budget, will probably have more
I like the whole Mediterranean theme, will be a nice trip as mim said. For backpack’s and packing tips visit the packing forum
Also, you can take a ferry along the Croatian coast that makes many of those stops — they run twice a week I believe. The name of the ferry company is Jadrolinija.
Thanks for your comments. I am wondering about booking travel while I am in Europe from one place to the next. Maybe I should get some kind of railpass when I am in Spain, France, Italy. I am not taking my laptop, hoping to use public computers. Should I just buy a prepaid phone when I’m there?? Also, can anyone recommend health insurance for travelling like this?? Hate to need it and not have it. I’m planning on just taking a small suitcase not a backpack and for a daypack, I’ll just carry a big purse or messenger bag, does that sound ok?? I’m not really a backpack person. Any infor is appreciated.

Hi, Im from Serbia, and i was in Montenegro every year, and u should skip Bar, coz its waiste of ur time. Its small town without anything interested for tourists. U can go in Budva (its crowdy) or in Podgorica, capital of Montenegro….but better is to skip it, u dont miss anything…its way better to stay few days more in Croatia, its amazing, or visit some of amezing Greek tourist places…
