EDINBOROUGH/LONDON: likely train
PARIS/BRUSSELS: high speed train
AMST/BERLIN: train if cheap flight unavaible
MUNICH/ROME: PLANE (BOOK SOON)
COMO/SOUTH OF FRANCE: train
SOUTH OF FRANCE/BARC: train
You might look for cheap air fares from Como to South of France and South of France to Barcelona. Both trips are lengthy and sometimes complicated by train. If your stop in the south of France is merely a stop-over between Italy and Spain, look at flying from Milan (or maybe Pisa or Florence) to Barcelona. I love the South of France, but if you aren’t planning on spending at least 2 or 3 days there (a week or more is better) I’d seriously look at skipping.
Thanks for the advice. This is just a rough copy of where I plan on going and the most practical ways of getting there. Still trying to trim it down in a way to make it all work. I have been to Italy many times and I’m thinking of cutting it out entirely while replacing it with Copenhagen and Stockholm. I already found some cheap flights. Thoughts?
If you can find cheap flights (cheap and Scandinavia don’t usually go together) I’d go for Scandinavia.
