Ferry from Barcelona to Rome
Hey guys, I’m gonna be taking a ferry from Barcelona to Rome, and was wondering how this process goes down. I’m traveling with a buddy of mine and it’s our first eurotrip. I found the website (http://www.aferry.to…), and I know which Ferry I’ll be taking (Grimaldi Lines, Barcelona – Civitavecchia) but I’m not sure how the payment goes down.
We purchased the Eurail Youth Pass (8 days, 4 countries), and I think we’re supposed to get some sort of discount on Ferry Rides. Basically, do I preoreder the ticket online and have it shipped to my house?
Spain transport: Barcelona to Valencia
Hello!
I am traveling to Europe for the first time in August for La Tomatina in Bunol, Spain. I am traveling with one other person. Our flight goes to Barcelona and our hotel is in Valencia.
What are my options to get from Barcelona to Valencia? What do you think is the best way (cheap and fast)?
Also, what do you think is the best way to go from Valencia to La Tomatina in Bunol?
Please help! Thank you…

First Timer's First Trip (Spain Maybe?)
I am a 19 year old female who is going to be traveling alone. Ideally I would love to go to Barcelona but I haven’t made up my mind yet. I will be going in September of 2009 and I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. Like I said I am pretty sure I will be heading to Spain for my first trip. What hostels would you recommend? How much do you think I will need to spend? Should I stay in one city for 3 weeks of visit different ones? I am not interested so much in seeing a lot of Spain as I am immersing my self in it’s culture.
Thanks for any advice

Recommended Hostels?
My best friend and I are traveling around Europe this summer and I was wondering if anyone could recommend good hostels in the countries that we’re going to. We are looking for places in the city near bars, clubs, restaurants, and cafes.
We will be visiting:
Berlin
Barcelona
Paris
Amsterdam
Brussels
London
Dublin
Thanks!
What is the best way to get around?
My itinerary is mostly Western Europe.
I have a lot of questions so please bear with me.
Shall I buy a Eurail pass for the whole 2 months?
I was thinking of booking a flight from Barcelona to Nice.
Should I also book a flight from Paris to Barcelona?
When do you think would be most appropriate to ride overnight trains?
Thx in advance guys!
Rome to Barcelona
All,
Would it be more advisable to take a flight from Rome to Barcelona or a ferry? We will have a eurrail pass… I’m assuming we could use the ferry as one of our “travel days.”
Obviously, we would like it to be as cheap as possible, and a ferry seems like it would be a little more “fun,” especially overnight. Any experience with this?
Any input would be appreciated. Cheers!
Eurail selectpass is enough for transportation?
First time travelers here! My buddy and I are going to Paris, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Seville, Amsterdam, and Bruges this May 25 – June 25. I want to purchase the eurail 4 country 10 days/2 month selectpass. I don’t want to fly within europe. Ten days for eurail just doesn’t seem enough for a month trip, especially since we’ll need transportation within the cities. What about travel within countries?
P.S. what’s this talk about reservations for some trains? and how do we get sleepers? are they included in the selectpass deal?
Thanks!
