Madrid
1 Night in Madrid
I have a group of 8 couples, 16 people, staying in Madrid for 1 night before we catch our plane back to the States the next day. Everyone is in their late 20’s.
We are looking for any recommendations as far as hotels to stay in or even a general area.
Madrid to Pamplona-- Why so difficult?
Trying to purchase a bus ticket from Madrid to Pamplona for san fermin, because the renfe train is expensive.
I tried http://www.movelia.e… http://www.conda.es/ I get all the way to the Payment option and the payment never goes through.. the same happened on renfe site. My bank says it’s the websites fault.. I’m just really having trouble with simple things like booking a bus ticket being so difficult. Is there a site that actually works?
SIDE NOTE: for those looking to book on renfe.com from the states, the english version of the site it petrabax.com <—- hope that helps.

Confusion on Eurorail passes
So I am a bit confused over the eurorail passes and tickets in general, I’ve been looking around and maybe I have been over thinking things but I’m still lost. If I am going from Paris to Barcelona, then a little later Barcelona to Madrid would it be cheaper to buy tickets individually or as a pass? Also the root of my confusion lies in does a pass entail all the costs for each leg of the journey or will there be extra expenses?
-Lost in translation, any help is much appreciated.
Good eurotrip route?
A couple of friends and I want to go on the cliché trip to Europe after graduate high school next summer. We’ll be a group of 4 girls, all 18 (one 17 until halfway through the trip, but I don’t think that should be too much of an issue) and we want to visit 8 cities (Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid, Nice, Paris, Amsterdam, and London) for 1 month and 1 week. We realize that’s not the largest amount of time, but we’re working with what we have. We’ve all visited Europe before with our families, study abroad programs, teen summer tours, or all of the above.
Madrid to Malaga/Granada
Hi, We’re looking for suggestions on the best way to get from Madrid to Granada. We’ll likely have to go to Malaga. Any suggestions? Plane or train?
Thanks!
Discover Spain & Morocco On Line (Video + Stills)
My film “From Flamenco to Fez” presents a 2 continent, 3 country trip to Spain, Morocco, and Portugal. It features Madrid, Toledo, Grenada (the Alhambra), Seville (Spain), Fez and Marrakesh in Morocco, Lisbon, & Fatima in Portugal, plus much more, including a lavish Berber spectacle of music, dancing, and horse riding.
The video can be seen on the web, if you have a high speed internet connection.
This is a free, non-commercial, streaming video on the Windows Media Player. No ads and no strings attached. I sell absolutely nothing.
Flights to Israel with stop over in Europe
Hi,
We are a family of 5, traveling from Portland Oregon to Israel around June 20 until July 17 2010 or so. Looking to stop over for 3 days in London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen or Madrid. I have tried flights to just London with cheap flights to Tel Aviv, but prices to London are horrible. Any advise? should I just take my luck with Priceline to London and back and then purchase on easyjet to Israel? anyone knows other airlines from the other European cities to Israel that I can try?
Thanks much for any advise given, Rina.
