Good eurotrip route?
A couple of friends and I want to go on the cliché trip to Europe after graduate high school next summer. We’ll be a group of 4 girls, all 18 (one 17 until halfway through the trip, but I don’t think that should be too much of an issue) and we want to visit 8 cities (Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid, Nice, Paris, Amsterdam, and London) for 1 month and 1 week. We realize that’s not the largest amount of time, but we’re working with what we have. We’ve all visited Europe before with our families, study abroad programs, teen summer tours, or all of the above.
AMSTERDAM/CHRISTMAS/SNOWBOARDING 2012
My best friend and I are planning a “End-of-the-World” trip to Europe next December. We plan to visit Amsterdam for sure, and want to have an awesome European Christmas, which probably will include snowboarding for hours upon hours. We have two to three weeks, from about December 8 2012. We want suggestions on places to visit that would fit into our schedule. I have checked out some ski resorts, but have no idea where to go for good snowboarding. We love the outdoors, beer, music, and having a great time.
Help! 15 days in Europe: Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany?
Hello!
I am planning a 15-day (already excluding flight days from USA, so 15 full days in europe) trip in europe in mid-late March 2012. I am flying in/out of Zurich, Switzerland. The main point of the trip is to visit my sister and bro-in-law in Groningan, Netherlands, where they reside. Thus, I’d like to spend at least 4-5 days with them there (which includes a day trip to Amsterdam). So that leaves 10-11 days to travel elsewhere in nearby countries. I have friends that live in Berlin, Frankfurt, and Kassel. So I’d like to visit them for at least a day/piece in all those cities as well.

Internet Premiere
My movie “Tulips That Yodel” tours Belgium, the Netherlands, (Holland) and Switzerland. Stars include a World War I trench museum, Bruges, the lovely Keukenhof Gardens, Dutch Windmills, Amsterdam (with its canals & a coffee house that sells pot), the mighty Matterhorn, and a great Swiss folklore show making music from “instruments” you may see nowhere else, plus yodeling.
“Tulips That Yodel” can be seen on the web, if you have a high speed internet connection. It is 30 minutes long. This is a free, non-commercial, streaming video on the Windows Media Player.
First trip abroad, suggestions?
My Fiancé and I will be making out first trip over seas next march for our Honeymoon. We originally planned a backpacking trip begging in Rome, and ending in Venice. No we are considering something a little more jam packed. We have 13 days to travel in Europe and are planning to buy a euorail global pass youth that will allow us to travel for 15 days.
Is Hostel Right for Me???
Hey All,
I’m planning an off season trip to Europe next month and am wondering if a hostel would be good for me. I’m 40 years old, young at heart and ready to have a great time in Amsterdam but wondering am I too old for staying in hostels?
I’d stay in hotels but hostels are better for my budget. Also not sure but am I getting this right that private rooms can be had for only $10-15 per night? How do they do this?
Transportation in/around Europe
I’ve been researching various Eurail, Eurostar, etc… tickets/prices/destinations. Frankly, it’s all starting to confuse me. I need help in picking the best means of transport. This will be my first time in Europe and I’m trying to work under a budget. If anyone has traveled in & between the countries I’ve listed, I’d appreciate any advice. I’m going to the following cities in this order: Amsterdam, Paris, London, Dublin, Amsterdam (again).
Wahooo I'm heading to Europe! Help me plan!!!
Hi eurotrippers! I’m planning a trip to Europe in the summer of 2010. My friend that’s going with has already been there backpacking, so she is making me pick where I want to go. Having only been to France a million years ago, I didn’t know where to start. We are going to spend two weeks probably sometime in July. Advice as to when tickets are cheapest are also welcome. I was thinking of going to Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. Start in either Italy or the Netherlands. What places should we definitely hit up?
