College Guys - Please Help with Itinerary Options!
My brother and I are finishing college and going straight to Europe for a month. We have most of the trip planned out, but aren’t sure how to spend the last week of it.
Our trip for the first 3 weeks: Rome, Amalfi Coast, Florence, Venice, Munich, Amsterdam, Brussels
After Brussels, we’re trying to decide whether to go north to UK (London, maybe Edinburgh) or south (Paris, maybe Nice). We will end up in Barcelona and are flying from there.
Help With My Itinerary Please!
Alright, so I’m planning my first Eurotrip for summer 2012. I’ll be leaving from Reno, NV, US with $4500 for anywhere from 19 to 30 days. Airfare to and from Europe is not included in the budget. So far I’m planning on going to:
Dublin: 3 days
Edinburgh: 3 days
Glasgow: 2 days
Inveraray: 2 days
Paris: 3 days
Prague: 3 days
Amsterdam: 3 days
I’m into History so I like cathedrals and historic sites, but I also love me a pint, so I would like a balance between sightseeing during the morning and afternoon, and hitting some pubs and nightlife during the night.
Travel To France Without Leaving Home (Video + Stills)
My film “Napoleon Slept Here” takes you all around France, beginning and ending in Paris, with Notre Dame Cathedral, the Pompidou Center, Eiffel Tower, Napoleon’s Tomb, Sainte-Chapelle’s stained glass & the City of Lights at night; plus Nimes with its Roman Arena and Temple, the walled city of Carcassonne, Lourdes, the Palace of Chenonceau, a peek at the Bayeux Tapestry, and much more.

London to Budapest in 18 Days
Hi everyone! I will be leaving for Europe for the first time on Friday (so excited!)
The first 7 weeks I’m there will be spent in Barcelona for a study abroad program. I’ll be doing my Spain sightseeing during this time.
Then I’m off to a tiny town in Sweden for a week of swing dancing, followed by a few days in Stockholm (should I skip this? I don’t know anything about Stockholm other than that’s where I’m flying out of) and a few days in London to meet a friend.
I then have about two and a half weeks before I’m meeting another friend in Budapest.
The Great Circular European Railway Challenge
I’ve just completed organising and executing
The Great Circular Indian Railway Challenge, see gcirc.wordpress.com
and I’m now at a loose end, so I’m looking at same idea different continent.
Trip Planning -- Clueless.
Hi there!
I’ve been accepted to study at a university not far from London next winter (January to May 2012) and I’m hoping to travel around europe a bit once the semester is over. The plan is for my girlfriend to join me in London at the end of my semester and then we’d start our trip from there. I really don’t know ANYTHING about traveling around europe or how much it’d cost but I know we want to visit paris, amsterdam, berlin, and stockholm and spend about 3-4 weeks total. Additionally, we are definitely looking to travel as cheaply as possible.

Hi everyone,

What’s the best way to get there?
Thanks.

Ten days in London and France versus visting several countries?
Hi! My boyfriend and I are headed to Europe this summer for a wedding in Tours (apparently 2h from Paris). Neither of us has been before, so I feel a little lost trying to plan things. We’ll be gone for about 10 days (haven’t booked flights yet). We’ll probably fly into London, where our friend lives, then go to Tours for Fri-Sun. I’m looking for advice on spending time exporing France (I’d like to see Paris, but other than that I don’t really know much about the other places) versus trying to take in other countries. I’d love to see Venice and/or Rome.
