Poland
Tour Italy, Central & Eastern Europe On Line (Video + Stills)
My film “Gondola With the Wind” can be seen on the web if you have a high speed internet connection. The movie begins in Italy with Rome, Pisa, Florence, and Venice. It then features Vienna (Austria), glorious Prague (Czech Republic), Poland (including Warsaw & Auschwitz), Ukraine, and Budapest (Hungary).

Milk Bars in Warsaw
Can anyone recommend a good milk bar in Warsaw? How about any culinary schools in Warsaw? I’m researching MoPo (modern Polish cuisine) for a book, plus downhome cooking. Also, I’ll be visiting relatives in Turek and I’ll be staying at hotel Dom Gornika. Any suggestions for must-sees, etc., in that area (between Warsaw and Posnan, near Konin)? Thanks.

Have you ever been to Wroclaw? This is one of the most magnificent cities in Poland with the amazing Market Square, beautiful parks and unique restaurants and pubs.
People who live here will make your visit unforgetable. If you still hesitate to come here visit this blog Enjoy Wroclaw

Winter Packing
Hey, if anyone has any recommendations as to what specifically to pack for a trip during Winter 2010… That would be great. I have read a list of what should be packed in for winter travels, however, my trip includes from start to finish( a bit concerned about the lower Bavaria and Alps):
France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Czech, Swiss, Back to Paris to fly out…
Thanks!

Poland - 1 week in October
Hey! So me and a friend are planning a trip to Poland for a week in early October. We are flying into Krakow, and planning on staying in hostels the whole time. Wondering if anyone has suggestions for things to do. Anywhere in Poland. We’re 20-somethings not looking to really party but more educational or out of the way places, unique. I’m open to all suggestions especially cheap and good food, and sites to see.
thanks
Making rail reservations
I just purchased a European East Pass through raileurope.ca (for $344 CDN)
I was advised to buy first class by others who have travelled by train in Europe.
I have a few questions:
Is it necessary to buy a first class pass to reserve a first class seat on a train? (may be obvious but just trying to figure everything out)
And…
I would like some advice regarding reservations.
Bydgoszcz, Poland
Me and two of my girlfriends are planning a trip to Poland this summer. They were born and raised in Poland, so works to my benefit there! They live in the town of Bydgoszcz, where I asume that we’d be most of the time, considering they have a house there, I was wondering if there are really any breath taking sites around that area that i could travel alone, or towns/cities i could walk to around that city, alone.
