A couple of friends and I want to go on the cliché trip to Europe after graduate high school next summer. We’ll be a group of 4 girls, all 18 (one 17 until halfway through the trip, but I don’t think that should be too much of an issue) and we want to visit 8 cities (Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid, Nice, Paris, Amsterdam, and London) for 1 month and 1 week. We realize that’s not the largest amount of time, but we’re working with what we have. We’ve all visited Europe before with our families, study abroad programs, teen summer tours, or all of the above.

What is the best train route to go from Rome to Barcelona? I kinda want to go overnight so we lose as little time as possible in either city, so what is the best course of action. Thanks

Ill be staying in Hamburg for work about a month or so
but i will only get a full free weekend on the 17 of Sept (until the 19) so i was planing to make a small trip.
As i had already been in Germany before i was hoping to go to some of the near cities surrounding germany, like Prague or Rome (mostly cos of the romantic air on them) but im having a hard time finding a cheap way of travel.
I know its on weekend and been quite close to the departure date its possible that i have to travel not so cheaply but any ideas sugesstions or help would be great

I will be spending 10 days in Italy at the end of July this year. I will be leaving from venice airport on the 10th day. I will have already spent 2 days in Venice at the start of the trip. I am wondering if it if would be to much of a rush to go to Naples, Florence and Rome in the 9 days I have left or should I choose either Florence or Naples. I did want to go to Pompei – does this take all day? If anyone has any suggestions, ideas of things to do in each town to try to help me decide, that would be great.
