4 of us (2 couples) will be "assing through" munich after spending 2 nights in salzburg. we will be arriving in munich early on the 28th of September and probably just be staying 1 night (perhaps 2 if we can work it out). we need suggestions on how to go about it. we have a car so we can stay outside of town and drive in or take a bus in if need be. however, is that a good idea or would it be much better to stay in the city? will we even have a choice? i imagine most places are booked up. does anyone have a suggestion on a reasonably priced b&b or hotel or private room that may still have vacancies? is there a "must see" beer garden area? any help you can give us will be appreciated.
thanks
