1st time euro golf vacation
Sun, 07/18/2010 - 09:01
Hello everyone
I vacation with a group of guys within the U.S. with Golf as our main theme. We have been to many golf resorts in the U.S. and are considering doing a euro golf trip next season. Any changes we should think about since we will be going over seas.

All I can say is, go to Scotland where they invented it.
London, Salisbury, Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh, Inverness, Edinburgh, London
Venice, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Florence, Rome, Sorrento, Rome
Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Bangkok
2008—Language study abroad in Paris, France
2009—Archaeological field school/dig in Lau, Fiji
2010— Birthday UK trip!
2011— Teaching English in South Korea
2012— ????
I think Portugal is seriously trying to push golf tourism, so think about Portugal.
If you want to play the old course at St. Andrews in Scotland in 2011 you need to download the application form on September 1, 2010. It’s much easier to get a tee time reservation on the other courses there and I believe you can just show up and have the starter try to fit you in in-place of no-shows of some of the less popular courses at St. Andrews links.
