Hi again, Some have suggested for a 2 week trip concentrated in a relativly small area – France and Spain- that it might be better to buy individual tickets for each rail trip.

What is everyone’s opinon on this? We are both under 26, but from what I have heard I’m leaning on wanting to travel first class. The extra room makes is way worth it for me. How far ahead will we have to get tickets for the begining of June? Also do we need to worry about Language barriers when purchasing our tickets or is it pretty self explanitory. I do know some Spanish and my friend does know some French, but we are by no means Fluent. I guess my question is – is it less of a hassle to have a 2 week rail pass?

I can see us doing a fair amount of shorter trips, and possible a longer overnight trip a couple times.

Thanks
LAURA
