is 3 a good number?
Fri, 09/07/2007 - 14:10
I am wondering if it is a good number of each kind of cloth to take with me for a 20 days trip to europe, I mean, 3 jeans, 3 t shirts, 3 socks, etc if not what do you do to have your clothes dry when you wash them, please i need some advice I don´t want to carry so much but neither to buy new cloth because the one I’d carry with me is not enough

Most backbackers go commando and don’t wash for the duration of their trip.
Jeans are going to take a long time to dry. Consider bringing some other pants too.
My general solution is to go to a laundromat.
I’d take several more pairs of underwear and socks, because fresh ones will keep you feeling clean.
How about 0 pair jeans, 4 shirts, 5 socks, 1 shorts, 1 other pants. If you need to have jeans, 1 pair will do you.
