Abbey Road and ACLE jobs
Thu, 01/12/2006 - 19:28
Has anyone ever heard of Abbey Road or A.C.L.E. and if their summer jobs are fun or not?

Hey There, I’m traveling to Italy in August/september and in the process of applying for ACLE’s Theatrino Programme (A group of traveling actors that use drama to help teach English)
I have been in contact with the office manager Amanda who has been very helpful with all my enquires. Her email address is on their website www.acle.org.
If you go there you will find that they also have a few other amazing oppurtuities available. I’m really interested in the Bardio Project where by you volenteer in restoring ancient villa’s and churches in a beautiful Tuscan Village in return for free baord in the most amazing Villa. People go there to write, paint or jut be there.
ACLE also have city and rural summer camps available. From memory these go for 2 to 4 weeks and they pay around 180 euros a week. The only thing is that you MUST be a native English speaker to apply for any of these jobs (except Bardio I think)
All this info is on their website.
Hope this helps!
Good luck mate.
