Actually running with the bulls, is it too insane?

Hello,
I plan on going to Pamplona for the running of the bulls festival this year. I feel like if I am going to be there, I might as well run and check it off this list. Would you recommend doing this for someone who has never been? Where can I read up on where to go to start, what I need to wear, etc?
I am leaving from Madrid and traveling for 4 days

Check out www.partyearth.com/c…. This site has a detailed guide for the run, tons of photos and videos so you can see what you’re getting yourself into, plus a breakdown of the scheduled activities. They’re also looking to hire photographers (amateur of professional) who’ll be there this week to take pictures of the general madness that is Sanfermines. Let me know if interested and have a blast!
