Advice for Euro newbie

Hello all!
I am in the processing of planning a Spring Break trip to Europe. I would spend a week traveling through France, and the Benelux countries.
My question: would I be completely crazy to attempt such a trip solo? I am a twenty year old junior in college, I speak basic French (and am a native English speaker) and I am adventurous and independent.
Also, if anyone has any tips, or ideas as to what to see on my journey, I would be appreciative!
I don’t have time tonight for a very complete reply, but your basic question was whether you’d be crazy to go to France/Benelux countries alone, and the answer to that is no!
If you have only one week, you’ll have to selective about where to go.
