can’t see any posts around here about Deutsche Bahn’s website. At http://reiseauskunft… you can do a query on any city to city train connection in Europe. It even has the itineraries for local trains, so be sure to check the total time. I don’t know how far east the timetables go, but Istanbul and Moskow are in there.

If that link is too hard to remember for the Internet Cafés in Europe, the main page is www.bahn.de. There’s a link on the left side that says "Travelservice (timetables)".
