Hey everyone ! Quick question to you all experienced backpackers. It turns out i might get about 3 weeks off from work around late august-early september this summer. I am thinking about a trip in central europe (vienna, prague, budapest, munich, etc) but i have not made any flight/hostel/train reservations yet. Am i too late ? (regarding price, availabilty, etc). Thanks

No, and especially not for major cities (most Europeans head for the countryside or the coasts during their summer vacation.)   Call some places, see what you find,  I doubt you’ll have any problems.

You might be in luck. I’ve seen some airfare reductions starting on some routes from the USA around mid-August. Where do you need to travel from?
