Americans @ Oktoberfest...
Mon, 09/06/2010 - 17:27
Looking for Americans that will be attending this year, a fellow party Krew.
what are the planz… which tents? what times? what days?
cheers, jjj
9/20, noon-5:45pm, Hacker Festzelt. I have a couple tickets left for our table. €30 gets you a chicken and two beers. You can find us in Box 5 under the name intermaps.
9/30-10/2…. Schottenhammel, hacker, hippo, & of course hofbrau.
We are there 9/30 – 10/2, staying downtown. All first timers ages, 29-32…
Planning on wearing Michigan gear to get attention.
Any recommendations for tents and days or is it just go with the flow type of environment? Do specific tents run the Friday and Saturday party? Do we need reservations?
cheers, jjj
It’s too late for reservations now! Anyway you can’t really get them for the days when you need them most, the weekends that is.
Try to go during weekdays and enter in the early afternoon. Hofbrau tent has the most english speaking people, and the craziest atmosphere! Be careful in the middle area, it’s especially rowdy there, and other might try to rip your underwear off.
See my post above yours for tent suggestions.
