Amsterdam >> Stockholm
Fri, 09/07/2007 - 21:37
Hello and i need help in this part of planning my trip. I can’t find any cheap way (no plane) to go from amsterdam to stockholm. i am planning on using eurail whenever possible… also im thinking some ferry might be possible here but i don’t know any sites that have that information.
thank you very much in advanced
You can do it by train and ferry, but it will take a long time — minimum is nearly 17 hours. Ferry crossings from Denmark and Germany are covered by your railpass, but you might end up using two rail days to accomplish this trip. This pasted from “bonuses” at www.railpass.com
Have you tried Sterling Air? http://www.sterling…. Also look for cheap flights from Rotterdam, Eindhoven or even Brussels.
thank you so much !! i think ill go with the plane option… that is hella cheap
Oldlady gave you the best tip on this route. SAS and KLM are sometimes competive on price, but doesn’t look that way this time.
According to www.whichbudget.com Ryanair should be on Eindhoven to Skavsta, but quick check of early Oct. didn’t turn up anything.
Sterling looks like your ticket.
