Amsterdam here I come

Hello movers and shackers of the world. I am a little boy with a mighty big heart for adventure and a new place to put some roots in the tree of history. I am a writer who will be trying to create a new form of writing and living that I hope will someday inspire a youth to live an interesting existence.
Me and a good friend of mine will be traveling to ireland then chugging along on a trainaround europe till we reach are final destination.
I am hoping the atmosphere of amsterdam will be right up the alley for my writing. I need music, art, culture, somthing more then this I have now.
All in all would anyone know any sites with a good amount of information about amsterdams culture.
Go to the library, they should have some books. Or get a guidebook that tells you about whats around. How long are you planning on staying in Amsterdam? Its seems you are set to go for a long while. You might need to look into getting a work Visa. That can be difficult though. Check out these websites

Hey, um, don’t take this the wrong way or anything… but when you say you’re a writer, do you mean you write in English? Or in another language? I was just wondering because you had quite a few mistakes in that post: "are final destination"… "something more then this I have now"… "amsterdams culture"…
What do you write for? Are you looking to get published?

Poor people, Still locked in the mind set of personal belifies on how a person should spell what he is thinking out. You can aproach transfering thoughts or speech in a number of grammatical ways. All Im tryig to say to the population who is not taking the time to correct me in my spelling or criticize me could just tell me a few "Sources" for amsterdam culture. For the one’s who did just that thank you for your help.
Not that Im trying to bad mouth you but if you want to get published I think that spelling is an important part of writing. Secondly you sound like a person that is trying to excuse drug use. I am not against people indulging in Amsterdam. However I think if you do plan to use drugs you should not lie or try to excuse it. Have fun in Amsterdam.
Writing is a form of communication. If you can’t spell, you won’t communicate. Good luck with that.
