Any advice would be great!!

Hello,
Me and three of my friends are heading to Europe in June and I was wondering if I could get some advice on traveling around. We will be in Europe for 16 days(though really 14 because getting there and coming home will be two days) and right now we have flights booked to land in London and fly back home from Barcelona. Are plan as of right now (still up in the air and will probably change a little) is to go from London to Amsterdam to Prague to Munich to Zurich/Interlakken and then to Barcelona. We wanted to do Italy, but it seems like too much/out of the way/expensive and we still might cut out either Amsterdam or Munich to make sure we have time to enjoy ourselves at other destinations.
First off does this trip seem doable? and second does anyone have recommendations of ways to get around? I’ve looked around and it seems like the eurorail pass might be the best bet for most and then possibly a flight from Zurich to Barcelona? If anyone has any insight or even advice on things to see/do I would appreciate anything I can get….Thanks!
1. 14 days = about 5 cities, so I think you should cut 1. Long distances might mean cutting another.
2. Train is best for London to Amsterdam and Prague/ Munich/Zurich. The rest of these are pretty long treks. Check for cheap flights for the others. Use www.which budget.com to see which low fare airlines fly which routes and check our “cheap flights” forum for more links, tips and help. Overnight trains are another option for the long treks. 3. Which, if any, rail pass is best depends on which city you cut and which legs you fly and requires some more work on your part. Use railsaver or put your itinerary in the trip planner for a recommendation. A 3 country select pass might save some money on this trip. Use www.Eurostar.com to look for the best fare for london/Amsterdam.
Yeah, it’s too much. Getting to/from Interlakken is going to mean some long and/or inconvenient train trips (i.e. taking up most of the day or a night train with multiple changes), so if you really want to see it consider cutting two places and spending more time there to make it worthwhile. Of course if you want to just suck it up and do a long overnight train trip with a middle of the night change or two, spend a couple of days and then do another long train ride, go for it. It never killed me when I did it; I’m just getting older and less adventuresome
