Just wondering whether anyone has been on the ferry from Italy to Greece (in particular, the one leaving from Brindisi)? What’s your opinion on it? Comfortable? too long? cost? It is better to buy a seat (despite having a eurail pass)?

I’m considering catching the ferry from Brindisi to Corfu or Igoumenitsa on Jan 19th. Anyone got any thoughts on travelling by ferry at that time of year? Otherwise, does anyone have a better suggestion for travelling Italy to Greece?
