Anyone ever get an incorrect invoice link?
Sun, 07/15/2007 - 09:47
Hello All, I am new to this site and to ordering train tix. I was wondering if any of you got a link for the receipt of your purchase that lead to an incorrect invoice. I got my weblink for my invoice, but when I clicked on it, it too me to an invoice from some lady in Michigan and was dated year 2000! Needless to say, I am really nervous about this and will call my credit card company to put a hold on payment until this issue is solved. Thanks for your input and time. Hope everyone is enjoying their travel adventures.

uhm, what train tix did you order??
Yes, the exact same thing happened to me. It was with Rail Connection, right? I wasn’t concerned since the email reply had my correct information. It’s just when you hit the link to your invoice that it’s from someone else who placed an order a number of years previous. I noticed that the invoice number is 4 digits, and my receipt number is 6 digits – the first 4 digits being the same as the old invoice number. Anyways, I got my rail pass in the promised time, and I bet you will too.
i ordered Germany 6 day pass for myself and my girlfriend. Anyways, I am relieved that it wasn’t only me that this happened to. “SSS” is correct, it was with the Rail Connection and the same exact situation with the four vs. six digits invoice number. thanks for posting replies. I will call my card company to be on guard just in case I don’t get my tix. Let’s hope it’s just a glitch like “SSS” said. Good travels to everyone!
