Anyone Hostel in New York City?
Thu, 12/29/2005 - 14:26
I’ll be traveling in NYC for around 2-3weeks. I was wondering if anyone has or knows anyone who has stayed at a hostel in NYC. I was thinking about staying at the Gershwin Hostel/Hotel. Hotels are so expensive in NYC. Looking for suggestions of a good, clean, close to downtown, hostel that is good priced.
Thanks,
Jerrami

You may want to check the YMCA’s – they are like hostels, clean, and reasonably priced. You can also book them online.
I stayed in a hostel a few years ago that I think was called Jazz on the Park. It’s on the upper west side, so maybe it’s not central enough for you. It was a decent hostel, with a cool space downstairs for hanging out. I mostly remember it fondly because I met some really cool people there.
