I’ve rented apartments in Spain twice and found both of them by doing a search on Google. There have to be both private individuals and agencies in Milan who rent apartments for shorter terms. Also check here, perhaps place an ad stating you are seeking housing:

Try to be smarter as in Italy I saw the majority of the renals have contracts with agencies.

The agency I think is not very interested in renting an appartment for such a period without lowering the price, but, if you manage to contact directly an owner you could get lucky and save some money too

Unfortunally surfing around google I had no lucky myself a month ago finding an appartment near Venezia, I had to go there!!! but just after being there I saw the website of the hotel => NO Meta tags! No wonder…..no indexing!
