I am interested in travelling though Eastern and Southern Asia.
Are visas difficult to obtain?
Should I have them before I leave?
Are the trains difficult to use and is this a possible method of transportation in all countries?

I have read about most of the visa requirements, but can anyone tell me how difficult this may be. I am curious about traveling by land though Asian countries east of India.
