Australians Travelling To Cuba
Wed, 03/15/2006 - 01:06
Hey
Does anyone out there know if someone travelling on an Australian passport requires a visa for travel to Cuba? My friend is going there and she’s convinced all she needs is her tourist card that comes with her package. But does anyone know if she requires an actual visa? Any help is greatly appreciated.

By the way, both her and I have been checking extensively online and seem to keep coming up with conflicting information. So any advice preferably from an Australian who’s been there recently would be great.
Are you just going there on an all-inclusive package?
If so then NO you won’t need a visa. I’m pretty sure it should be like that for Austrailia and I KNOW it is like that for Canada. All I needed to go to Cuba was my passport and tourist card.
Unless you are spending an extended time in Cuba, i’m doubtful you will need anything more than that.
She ended up contacting the Embassy of Cuba. Turns out just the tourist card that comes with the pacakge is sufficient (just like Canadians require)
