I’ll be studying abroad in London from mid-January to early May, and I’ll be taking lots of weekend trips since we have no Friday classes. My question is this: will my regular school backpack be all right, or should I get one of those REALLY expensive internal-frame-with-detachable-daypack thingies? The one I have is a fairly good-sized Jansport that’s lasted me through 3 years of college not much the worse for wear. I know I’d have to carry a messenger bag or something with it, cuz I’m not a light packer by any means, but would it be worth avoiding the hassle to get a different backpack? And if so, what kind? I’ve heard that the Eagle Creek’s are really good, but what are the other brands that are equivalent? Sorry about all the questions, but all these decisions!…Two months till I leave, and my head’s already spinning!
