What do you do with your backpack side wings??? They stick out at weird angles, which often won’t fit in tight lockers etc.

My friend showed and suggested something to me tonight, but I don’t know if it’s a good idea! She said to fold the backpack wings BACKWARDS, towards the sides of the backpack, and tightly snap the closures shut this way. (she did this to my backpack as I winced!!)… It does keep the backpack in a tight little package, though. What do you think?
