Hey All,

Planning to look for work while I am in Italy in September as a Barista/Coffee maker, anyone had any success in this feild?

I will have permission to work in Italy organised so work visa is not an issue.

I am skilled in most areas of hospitality, waiting, coffee, alcohol, kitchen prep ect, I am told it shouldn’t be a problem…what do you think?

I do speak some Italian, although not fluent I understand a fair bit. Its just that I tend to get stuck whilst trying to compose a sentence, or use incorrect gramma etc.

Thats what I was affraid of though, the lack of fluency could prove an issue especially in service industry such as hospitality.

I guess I may have to brush up on the Italian before I go, I have 4 months up my sleeve so hopefully will be able to improve in that time Smile

Cheers

Mimmo
