My 19 year old son has been traveling in Europe since June 16th. And yesterday while in Nice on the beach at night with some other kids, he lagged from the group for a few minutes and was assalted by 3 guys trying to rob him. They got him on the ground and kicked him in the face.He was pretty banged up and shook up to say the least. How they didn’t get his moneybelt is a miracle.And the fact that he wasn’t seriously injured. Be careful..Don’t get lax and don’t think just because you are with other people nothing can happen to you. Watch the alcohol intake too, as you are targeted when these guys know you are "feeling no pain" And STICK TOGETHER.Best of all party early if you are going to and stay off the beaches at night when it’s dark and you can easily become a target for danger.
