Beer pricing site
Thu, 05/15/2008 - 13:51
A bunch of people always ask about the prices of beers in different countries. I was turned on to this site that lists the average prices of pints from around the world. Not sure how accurate it is but im sure its worth a look.

It’s accurate for Denmark and Norway.
Gdrink: can you add that to our links directory?

That’s a great site…although some of those outliers seriously skew the average. Some genius said $10 in Riyadh…gotta factor in that stupid-tourist-got-ripped-off standard deviation lol.
Reykjavik, Paris
If a beer or ale is really good, and I have had it previously, I will pay $5.00 for a pint, or maybe $6.00 for a 22oz. However, being somewhat of a beer “knowledge guy”,,, I also know which beers in certain countries are NOT worth what they are asking.. Certainly, if I do not know whether or not a beer is any good, not having tried it before… They darn sure are not getting $7 to $10 for a glass out of me! That is a handy list…

Looks like it’s time to move to Myanmar.
Thanks H20!
