ok so i have a friend that is in Kiev, Ukraine. I want to visit him while I’m on my eurotrip i’m thinking from what i’ve researched the cheapest place to come from is Berlin. Anyother suggestions are welcomed. but i was wondering if by plane would be cheaper and better than buying a train ticket from berlin to kiev.

I am leaving from Houston, Tx with $3000 for 26 days
Berlin, Rome, Zürich, Munich, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Frankfurt

I would fly. Berlin to Kiev would be a grueling 22 to 28 hours by train. I’d also check flights from Munich since you’ll be in Munich for your visit to Dachau. You may find more flights from Vienna to Ukraine … Vienna is about 4 hours from Munich by train.
