best place for chocolates
Mon, 01/11/2010 - 14:25
Hey , I have a question; where is the best chocolate in Europe? I asked my brother and he says germany and italy .. does anyone agree or have a better suggestion? I am planning to take my wife there and surprise her with some excellent chocolate. It would be great to plan a trip
Belgium for fine chocolates. Although… Ritter (German) does a nice dark chocolate with lemon in summer that I’m quite fond of
but I wouldn’t call this “fine” chocolate.
Belgium it is then, I always wanted to try chocolate that has fruits in it but I can’t find it so easily in most places , so they should have those kind of chocolates there
?
Toulouse, France is filled with enticing chocolateries, seemed like in the center of town there was one at every other corner.
They had all sorts of chocolate treats—one specialty is with violets (the flower.)
Each item had the % of cacao listed; I’ve noticed this practice is now appearing in the States.
We will try the chocolates of Toulouse too I think. I can’t wait to taste the chocolate with violets
I think Belgium is the best for chocolates.
Belgium sucks! Its only good promotion and that’s it))yeah, they have fantastic architecture and i really love Rembrandt but in reality the best place to try chocolate is Argentina. I know it is very far but the thing is that Argentinean food is a combination of hot Latino and delicate European. If you have a chance you should try pepper chocolate))))it might sound weird but it is absolutely delicious
