Best weekend among Berlin, Prague and Krakow
Tue, 05/18/2010 - 11:48
Hey people,
I have to decide in which city I’m gonna pass the weekend left i have in my schedule. What do you recommend among Berlin, Prague and Krakow? Whats the best weekend, in terms of nightlife?
thx!!
I am leaving from Brasilia with $3000 for 21 days
Amsterdam, Berlin, Kraków, Budapest, Prague, Amsterdam
Amsterdam, Berlin, Kraków, Budapest, Prague, Amsterdam
I am leaving from Brazil with $3000 for 22 days
Barcelona, Riga, Belgrade, Split, Hvar, Sarajevo, Amsterdam

I have budgeted $2500 for 11 days
Budapest, Kraków, Berlin
Budapest, Kraków, Berlin
Prague probably, maybe Berlin, never really heard of Krakow being a nightlife destinations.
Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Mostar, Sarajevo, Bol, Makarska, Florence, Málaga, Seville, Barcelona, Ibiza Town
A friend of mine was in Krakow (the least expensive of the three) a few years ago and had a blast. You’d have a good time in any of these cities.
Eat the food, use the wrong verbs, and end up getting charged double.
Prague does have some night life, Berlin is famous for it, Krakow was fine when I was there 6 years ago. All the three have night life, sometimes you have to find it, sometimes it finds you.
Or you can make a stopover in (otherwise industrial) Ostrava, go to Stodolni street (most famous “street of pubs” in the Czech rep.) and party for two consecutive days.
If you have any questions about Prague or Czech and Slovak republics, ask me.
If you only want to search train or bus connection within Czech&Slovakia and/or to neighboring countries, use www.cp.sk or www.idos.cz search engines. For domestic transport, they also show prices.
Berlin is a real place that does not depend on tourism. It is as cheap as any place in the US, and has as much diversity in its night life as any US city. You can find anything there.
Thx for the comments guys. My actual planning is to pass the weekends in Amsterdam, Berlim and Budapest!! What do you think?
