Best/Cheapest places to stay in Amsterdam and Greek Islands

Im doing a Eurotrip with 2 friends and we’ll be in Amsterdam for 4 nights and then we’re going to the be in Greek islands with some nights in Mykonos and Ios before heading to Corfu where we will definitly be checking out the pink palace. Iv done some reserch on hotels and hostels in Amsterdam and it looks like it will be at the very cheapest $40 CAD each night which is about as much as we each plan on spending. We’re hoping to find cheaper places in Greece. Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels or hostels? We’re looking for pretty basic places.

Hit up Hotel Galerij in Amsterdam. Its rihgt off Dam square on Rahadudenstraat (or something like that) which is the best location.
Its the cheap price of a hostel but its a little nicer.
They have rooms for 30EUR a night with 4 beds in them
