I don’t know where exactly to post this. I’m looking at booking bus tours, local buses and trains in England and I was wondering if there’s a way to book stuff while in the U.S. to avoid paying online for transactions in euros or GBP and get charged credit card conversion fees? I have a feeling it may not be possible but it doesn’t hurt to ask? Do they have a U.S. counterpart or can a travel agent do it or something.

Seems like this would go in the Transport forum.

Tickets from a U.S.-based website or travel agent usually carry a significant markup over those purchased in England or from a U.K.-based website.
