Bruce Canyon - distance from Vegas ?

I’m over in Vegas towards the end of this year and was wondering if Bruce Canyon was acheivable in a day?

Bryce Canyon is 270 miles. Is that what you mean?

Seems like a hell of a day trip in mid-winter with short days.

Yes, it was Bryce Canyon !!

270 miles is quite some distance to cover (there and back) in one day.

Any recomendations of areas nearer to Vegas that is worth a visit?
I’ve heard about Red Rock Canyon. Is that worth it ?

Or is it a case that once you’ve seen the Grand Canyon the others are just pale imitations.
