Well Pratty, from my experience I wouldnt even worry about drinking or partying… Its better to enjoy the lovely sunshine in Tuscany and feel the stiff breeze on your back while strolling through Amsterdam. Being hungover just ruins the trip. Drinking is for squares anyway.

Hmmmm… I don’t really know how much I spent on drinking. I know it was a big part of the budget. The best thing to do was to hang out n’ talk with everyone at the hostels n’ find the places with good happy-hour prices. The price range for beers really depends on where you’re at. I’ve paid $10 for a beer in London, and 50 cents in Prague. Plus a good thing to do is drink the local stuff… weather it be wine in France, or beer in Belgium. I just know that the ATM machine kept working, and the beers kept flowing.

Drinking is certainly one of my biggest expenses while away and i will make no apologies about that, You miss allot out of a city if you don’t get the chance to experience the night-life. But yeah I would follow TheComish, his advice is spot on.

Hey Pratty! That’s one of the reasons i’ve always liked Eastern Europe. Though many countries are nothing like as cheap as they used to be, there are some great party destinations still. Prague is still very good value for example and Krakow in Poland is also one of my favourites. However, if you want a real bargain destination, try Lviv, Ukraine. It’s tougher to travel in but a very interesting and beautiful place. A beer there costs around 50p on average too.

In the middle of my eurotrip here and I gotta say, it does get quite pricey. Especially if you do pub crawls. A lot of these pub crawls really suck and you end up spending quite a lot. Most nights though, I find myself drinking with some new friends and we all split the cost of the liquor, so it doesn’t come out too expensive at all (For example, bottle of JD or smirnoff and a good mixer will come to less than 20 euros)
Transportation is the real bitch you need to worry about. All the reservations and missed flights as a result of the partying is the money waster!

Cheers man, yeah i reckon the hardest bit will be controlling the spending on those large boozy nights out. Very easy to piss away 200 bucks

Well its really not that bad
Most I’ve spent in one night is like 60 euros for all the drinking but that was like once and I’ve been on the road for like 5 weeks now
Note that this does not include drinks at clubs cuz they don’t get more expensive than that!

I actually really liked the pub crawls. You pay like 12 bucks to go on a pub crawl, and that usually includes a shot at every bar (some in paris have free shots all night long) and sometimes they include a tshirt! I went on one in Italy that gave you all the beer you could drink in one hour, and then a free shot at every bar. It was great because you got to meet people from all over, and get a tour of the city and nightlife. If you really want to be cheap, go to the liquor store, get a bottle and get drunk before you go!

i know im going to sound like girly and stuff..but im not really a beer drinker….at the pub crawls do they serve mixed drinks? and im not really a shot type of girl….im not one to get drunk just for the sake of getting drunk, i like to enjoy the taste that goes in my mouth lol
so yeah the beer and shots are perfect for my best friend whos going with me but i need advice on like cosmos and margaritas and stuff.

The bars are the same there, as they are here. You can order whatever you want…you’ll just have to pay for it…

One of the ways I found the deals was to get to know people. Weather it be locals or just other people at the hostel/hotel/bar… they know the happy hour places to go, and where to get deals. Each city is different, so ask around.

Most places that I went to it was quite a premium for hard alcohol and mixed drinks. It was quite a bit more to drink them over in Europe as compared to America. Then again most of the places that I went were not really serving too many Cosmos n’ Margaritas. Wine on the other hand was not too expensive in many places. Drink what the locals do is my best advice.

Hey Pratty or any other normal guy on here who likes drinking and pussy…

I’ve had great experiences from Pub Crawls…Not go on them expecting to get wasted off the $12 you paid to go…yeah one shot at each bar, you can pregame even before, and then buy a couple beers while your at some fun bars/clubs.

Here’s the kicker though about Pub Crawls…The start off at one bar and that’s the valuable time to start talking and mingling with the really hot girls that are doing the crawl with you. You often play really fun drinking games which brings EVERYONE CLOSER TOGETHER and actually lowers womens defense shields. (Anyone with any sort of experience pulling girls from bars/clubs knows what I’m talking about) So Instead of you being just another normal guy trying to talk with her(where she can easily blow you off), you become part of her “pub crawl team” and it’s very easy to build rapport and sexual energy throughout the night. Remember also, her and her four other girlfriends are doing the pub crawl for the same reason as you…They want to get wasted, meet new people, be mildly entertained by a guy, and hookup at the end of the night! It’s really not rocket science boys…

The barriers break down on pub crawls and you go from being a stranger to a really fun and cool guy thats part of her “pub crawl team” which is a very powerful psychological thing for women. You’re not that creeper trying to hit on the girl, your that fun guy whose been playing dirnking games, building rapport, teasing and being playful with her all night while getting wasted and being surrounded by good music so you’re MONEY!

Last pub crawl I was on was in Rome and within the first 15 minutes at the first bar, I picked out the girl I wanted to “get to know better”, I made the conscious effort to make lots of eye contact with her while smiling throughout the night(another important factor with gaming girls…ALWAYS SMILE because that’s what guys do who are confident in their own skin) and then just gradually escalate things through playful touch/teasing, etc. and you will be Golden. By pub #4, I was with the hottest blonde out of the group, most the Aussies were enamored with me because I was pretty jacked and ripped because I workout and take pride in staying healthy and best of all….The girl and I were having sex on a dirt hill behind one of the clubs Trust me, my other head was thinking at that point and it seemed like a REALLY good idea at the time for both of us
