BUNAC Work in NZ
Tue, 07/20/2004 - 13:28
Just wondering if there’s anyone out there who participated in the "work in nz" program sponsored by BUNAC. It looks like a very popular program for americans. Anybody have some advice on which city I should settle in? Any good websites for looking for jobs?
Thanks, I would appreciate any information at all on working in nz.
Hi,
Maybe these sites will help you out a bit….the second one has a ‘useful links page’ which is quite good.

Good luck!
when are you going sarah?
Sarah, I did the USIT Work in Ireland Programme many moons ago. It was awesome. I had an advisor in-country though who helpd me find a job once I got there. We ended up going through a local temp agency in Dublin. Since I had solid office skills they could use me for various business gigs (and it paid a lot more than waitressing!). Be sure to bring your resume (also in CV style) on disk or CD with you, or be able to access it online when you arrive in-country.
Good luck! You’re going to have a blast!
Thanks everyone for your replies.
okienole3: I was thinking about going in October but now it seems like a better idea to go straight after the new year. I was thinking there might be better job prospects and more accommodation then. Are you going as well?
