camping sight?
Thu, 08/02/2007 - 16:40
Hey Gang,
I heard that there is a place to set up camp tents near oktoberfest. Does anyone know if you need a registration to stay there, And if so how do you obtain one?
D.S.

This is going to be my first time, but I actually just booked my tent space today online.

For 7 nights it’s going to only cost me a little over $100 which leaves me more room for drinking and shopping [
There is another camping place, but this one is slightly more expensive:

The problem I have found with camping is that they are not within stumbling distance (further than the train station) and sometimes they will not let you on public transport when drunk (to prevent vomitting, fights, etc.). Also the other campers can be loud and as filthy as they are in the beer tents giving you no really break from the action to recuperate for the next day.
Last resort only.
