i’m considering moving to québec next autumn to work for a few months, and was wondering if things are as cheap as we (in ireland) hear they are over there. i think that often there’s a lot of bullshit thrown around about the cost of living in certain places, so, what i want to know is; a) how much is a box of 20 cigarettes, and b) what’s the deal with permanent student-type accommodation in cities outside montréal? is it possible to get a place in a shared appartment for the equivalent of circa 70€uro/week? also, is it worth considering moving there at all!? any help would be grealty appreciated, cheerz
