I’m almost done with planning my itinerary! After Florence we want to go to Cinque Terre and from what I’ve been reading I think it will be best to take the train. We also want to rent a car to go to the smaller towns south of Florence and then drive to Rome and drop off the car in Rome. I would like to know which town near Cinque Terre is large enough to rent a car or do we have to go back to Florence to get the car? Thanks for your input.
