Caravan for age<21?
Sat, 04/02/2011 - 13:31
hi, we’re 19-20 years old planning a 25 days eurotrip, including a major part with a Caravan starting from Munich towards Austria (Innsburk), Switzerland (Grindelwald), Freiburg, etc.
The problem is that every site I looked in for RV rental says you must be 21 or older, and we’re only 19-20 years old. Does anyone know a company which I can rent from? Or any other solution?
Thanks!

Look into leasing instead of renting. Here, Thanks to Finnegan, is the link for Renault: http://www.renault-e… I assume you can find other possibilities with a google of Europe +van +lease.
P.S. Hertz does list a surcharge (16 euros per day) for drivers 19 to 21 for some vans, so that might be an option. That MAY be in addition to the 16 euros per day for drivers 21 to 25, but there would be a max of 260 euros??? There will also be extra charges for each additional driver, although hopefully not extra “young driver surcharges.”
