I keep reading that you should not carry all your stuff in one place. When you are wondering around a city during the day with your daypack and money belt, how should you split up your valuables? Should you leave some in the daypack and some in the money belt, or some at the hostel with the big backapck? It would seem to be that leaving everything in one place, i.e. in the money belt under your shirt is the safest and most full proof way of making sure nothing gets stolen. If everything is split up, you have that many more places to keep and eye on.
