Anyone know of any good cheap restaurants in Berlin. When I lived in Amsterdam I remember they have these squat restaurants where you could have a 3 course meal for about 12 euros, would have thought there would be something similar in Berlin, any ideas?

There are several pay what you can restaurants and wine bars in Berlin. Can’t remember off the top of my head, but a google search should turn up a plethora.

Several pay what you can? really!!! Do they do well?
I used to love going to one in London: just around the corner….really nice with good food and wine by West Hamstead. Did very well for years but now he shut it down. Owner was the chef and was frequented by lot of scribes etc.
