Hi!
The last time I travelled to Europe (2004) there was this amazing thread with about 50 search engines for finding cheap flights to europe… I can’t seem to find it and I’m wondering if anyone knows where it went?  Can it be bumped please if it still exists – it saved my butt last time and I’m hoping for the same luck this time around… thanks!!!

Hi Malibu. I just found it and “bumped” it to the top so you can find it easily. It has been one of the most-read threads ever on this forum.

Wow, I’m glad that my thread has been so helpful over the years, and thanks to Don for keeping it updated. Hopefully I will get to use it again soon, it’s been far too long since I’ve been to Europe. Smile

[=“trebuchet ms”]Hi, I have just registered with eurotrip in the hope of finding a relatively cheap way of flying from Brisbane, Australia to Ireland (wouldn’t mind a stop in Paris or another facinating city).  My friends and I are hoping to leave around the 9th August 2008 and return sometime around the 30th.  Dates are not fixed at this stage.  I noticed the subject of this thread and was wondering if there were any tricks or trips to the process.  Some sites I have previously looked at don’t really cater for those of us that live in the Land Downunder. I appreciate any advice you may be able to offer.[/]

Debs, I’ll start a new thread for this.

Don,

I am new to this so please bear with me.  When you say you “bumped it up to the top” what exactly does this mean?  I have been loking all over for it, but I can’t find it.

Thanks

Meecho, that means I found it and made a reply to it, which sends it to the top of the forum—meaning it should be visible on the first page of posts—or 2nd page if it’s more than about a week since someone replied to it. It should make it easier to find. I’ll do it again to send it back “to the top” of the forum so you can find it.

It has been pinned previously. The site has had some software upgrades. I’ve chosen not to pin it because, while the thread has had popular spells, it’s no longer relevant and efficient in many cases. Read our new user thread and you’ll be up-to-date. I’ll bump it to the top again.
